About
Grouseland, the 1804 brick mansion William Henry Harrison built as governor of the Indiana Territory, was the 'White House of the West' — site of his tense councils with Tecumseh. Nearly all-original and a National Historic Landmark, it displays Harrison family pieces, War of 1812 artifacts, and Indiana's official state rifle.
