Built in 1918 by Harry Daugherty - Warren G. Harding’s campaign manager and attorney general - the cabin known as “The Shack” was a rural retreat for the political circle around the 29th president. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it is restored and available as an overnight rental at Deer Creek State Park.
